Hi dears,
I have been working in a private sector company from June 2014 until now under a 2.5-year agreement. However, I am unable to continue in my current job due to the dusty work environment causing breathing problems. I would like to terminate my bond, but my employer is demanding a payment of 1 lakh rupees. I have not received any pay slips or appointment letters so far. What should I do? Please help me.

Clarifying Your Employment Agreement and Health Concerns
What does your agreement bond exactly say? Was any special training given to you for the job? What is the job you are doing?
Health and Employment Details
Have you received any medical advice regarding your health problem? Did the health problem arise after joining the job, or was it pre-existing?
Appointment and Payment Queries
Why have they not provided you with an appointment order? Is the appointment only verbal? Is the mode of payment through bank transfer, cash, or individual cheque?
Advice on Forum Etiquette
My suggestion: I would avoid addressing forum members as "hi dears." A little more formality would be appropriate, considering there are many senior HR professionals and other knowledgeable members in the forum. Providing more details about your employment situation would help in providing accurate answers.

Doctor's Certificate Submission
Further to what Nathrao mentioned/suggested, please confirm if you have submitted or shown the Doctor's Certificate regarding your health problem to your Company. By "submitted/shown," I mean formally and in writing. If not, I suggest emailing a scanned copy to your boss and HR from your official email ID with a cc/bcc to your personal email ID [you might need the proof of submission later].
Type of Doctor Consulted
Which type of doctor have you consulted - a general physician/MBBS or a Specialist? If you have only consulted an MBBS, I recommend obtaining another Certificate from an ENT Specialist. Certificates from MBBS Doctors are common, so their credibility is typically questionable from an employer's perspective.
Employment Documentation Concerns
There is something unusual in what you have mentioned - you do not possess a formal/official Appointment Letter, no salary slips, yet you have a Bond. Is this also verbal? If the Bond is in writing, please specify the exact wording used regarding the 2.5 years of service and 1 Lakh clauses.
Additionally, please provide a detailed response to Nathrao's queries as well. This will help members offer more actionable suggestions.
Primarily, it seems like you do not need to worry or lose sleep.
Regards,
TS
