Please guide me as I took sabbatical leave with the word of trust from my head of operations in December 2014. I was on unpaid sabbatical leave for six months due to personal reasons. Later, I received another job opportunity that was required for my personal reasons. Meanwhile, my financial transaction closed at the end of December 2014. I initially planned to rejoin in July 2015, but now that I have a new job, my boss has agreed to relieve me.
Crafting a Relieving Letter
My query now is regarding how the relieving letter should be crafted so that my future employer does not encounter any issues and trusts my sabbatical leave and relieving process.
Thank you.

The company will give you a letter stating that you worked from such and such date to such and such date as an (job appointment). They will also add that you had been granted 6 months of unpaid leave and they now have no objection to your leaving their company. A lot depends on how you had conducted yourself and the attitude of management.
