Dear Senior Members,

I'm working in a real estate company and have just joined. After joining, I realized that sitting late here (till 9 PM) is a trend since our boss thinks it's productive. We also do not have any transportation facility.

Laws Regarding Women Working Late

I wanted your help to know if there are any laws or rules that disallow women to work after 8 PM. We are in Mumbai; however, the safety issue while traveling alone is the same. A few women employees travel from really far.

I request your help so that I can prove to management that making women work after 8 PM is lawfully wrong.

Kindly revert with anything you can help. Looking to stop this trend.

Regards
