Dear seniors, this is basically just to clear a small doubt about my final year project. I'm planning to do my project on the topic "Effectiveness of Training & Development in an Organization" (including best practices followed, skills required for the trainer, etc.).

Including Talent Management

Can I include Talent Management as a part of this topic as it is an upcoming area in HR? If I choose Talent Management as my sole topic, will it be practically effective while carrying out the project? There aren't many firms in Kerala that practice Talent Management in their organizations.

Regards,
Cristee

Talent management is a vast area and a critical one as well. Learning & Development becomes a part of it. Talent management typically includes everything under the scope of HR. If you go by the literary meaning, it includes every step taken towards maintaining and developing the skill inventory, typically the employees. Since who is hired has a direct effect on this, hiring comes under its scope too. Hope this helps.

Regards.
