Thank you for the supporting documents. However, we have already started the training session for all our female employees/executives regarding this act and what is to be followed, etc.

Thanks again.

Thank you very much for this very important information. I feel that female employees might see this as an opportunity to exploit or manipulate situations in the workplace. This could potentially create significant challenges for HR.

The monitoring body, the local complaints committee, is not yet constituted. The District Administration is clueless on these aspects, but I believe it will take time for this rule/act to become a reality and serve its real purpose. Until then, all of us HR people can work on forming committees and conducting training programs for both male and female employees.

Hi All, Thanks for the useful info. I need a small help pertaining to the same. We wanted to organize an orientation & skill-building program under the "Sexual Harassment @ Workplace Act" and wanted to invite a legal person or social worker with necessary knowledge to talk to us about this. Can someone suggest someone? We are based in Mumbai.

Thank you for sharing information about this important legislation. The details should be displayed in prominent places so that such atrocities do not occur. Simultaneously, female colleagues should be made aware and encouraged to report in case any such thing occurs. Let us make our workplaces safer.
