Hi Guys, To all the intellectuals and technically sound members, I apologize if my query doesn't seem very difficult or worth your time, but I really, really need help on this issue. Firstly, I am a trainer for a software development and outsourcing company based in Kolkata. Being part of Training & Development, payroll and its hassles and policies aren't exactly my strong suit. I started my career with a BPO in Mumbai in 2004, and since then, I have worked for at least four different organizations, but have never claimed PF. Luckily, I have my payslips, so I know all the account numbers. I have tried the Employees' Provident Fund Organization's website, to no avail (always busy and unable to log in & register). Now I am at such a crossroads in life that I could really appreciate the little financial boost I can get if that claim went through. However, as I've worked across Mumbai, Pune & Kolkata, apart from the online option, I don't think there is any other suitable option. I am at my wit's end with this dilemma. Any valuable and realistic suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Please guide me without the technical jargon, as I have stated that finance & payroll aren't exactly my forte.

Thanks

Jintan Dinesh

Please take the printout of Form 10C & Form 19 from EPFO (EPFO) and fill out the same. If possible, send the forms to your previous employer along with the address proof and bank details. The employer will then forward the forms to the RPFO, and your claim will be settled.

If your previous employer is not available, you can have the PF forms attested by the SBI, where you hold a savings account, and submit them to the nearest Regional PF Office. The processing will be done accordingly.
