One of our employees claimed a PF amount under 19C after leaving in October 2010. We filed the DOL as October 2011, and he received an amount in excess for one year. The employee is not refunding that. What should we do? Can anyone kindly clarify this? His Form 10C is held up. Let me know whether it is their mistake or ours.

Hi, even though you mention excess PF, the department will cross-check with their records, and only they will credit the funds to the employees. If there are any issues with claims, the PF department will handle the problem.

thnks jeevan, they hvnt crosschecked and they paid the employee the claim from Form 19c, nw pf official is asking us (the co.) to pay back with interest. what to do?
