My younger sister received an offer from Accenture. She has 2 years of experience and has worked with 2 companies. Her first company, where she worked for 1.5 years, has closed, and its landline number has been allotted to another company. She possesses all relevant documents (offer letter, joining letter, salary slips, and experience certificates), and the method of payment was cash.

Could there be any issues during the background check? Should she accept the offer? Your insights on this matter would greatly assist us in making a decision. I would be very thankful for your input.

Thank you.

Thanks skumarss555,

Proof that the previous company is closed: If someone visits the company's address, they will learn from locals that it is closed, and there is no response from the company's information mailing address.

If we have all the documents as mentioned earlier, could my sister accept the offer on behalf of those?

If your certificates and documents are genuine, you can proceed. There will be no issues when it comes to background verification. Also, mention to the prospective employer that the company has been closed or wound up.
