Hi, Good Morning All,

Recently, we started implementing a new policy where if an employee arrives late three times in a month, they should be issued a Late Memo. Additionally, they should be informed that starting from the next instance of tardiness, half a day's leave will be deducted for each late arrival. This memo should be given to each employee with a cc to the Concerned Department Head.

Could you please provide me with a sample Late Memo format?

I agree with Kumar, draft it and send it across. Make a beginning! You will gain confidence. Don't worry about the grammar. Content is enough. We can vet it and send it back. Most importantly, see to it that it reaches all your employees and addresses genuine concerns. The simple maxim is "start early, drive steadily, and reach safely!"

Dear All,

Let us advise the poster rather than giving a harsh reply. Again, the poster should have the habit of checking or searching the community before posting, as there are loads of sample warning letters available here. Then, you should try to draft it and check. If not, this habit will persist, and you won't be able to stay on track.

Could anyone help me in understanding the proper rules regarding leaves?

For example, if an employee joins an organization in July, when will their leaves be credited to their account?
