Analysis is one of the best ways to study who stays and who leaves, including their age, qualifications, family structure, etc. Understand why they join and why they leave. Implement referral schemes to make employee retention more attractive. Monitor recruitment and exit processes closely. Most importantly, focus on providing value-added benefits for employees and organize regular engagement activities.

Managing Attrition

Attrition can be likened to corruption - it can be controlled but eliminating it entirely is unlikely. As an HR professional, showcasing your ability to manage attrition effectively can make you a sought-after candidate in any job market.

Employee Retention: A Comprehensive Approach

Employee retention is a complex issue that requires several initiatives and processes to yield sustainable results. It begins with hiring individuals with the right specifications and temperament suitable for the role. Providing proper induction, fair treatment of employees, setting goals, offering rewards, ensuring favorable working conditions, and, most importantly, exhibiting appropriate supervisory behavior are essential steps. Taking shortcuts or making changes in just one aspect may not produce the desired outcomes.
