One of my friends is working as an HR recruiter in a small recruitment firm for the past year. He has received a good opportunity in an IT company and has been asked to join within 10 days, or they will offer the position to another candidate. In his current company, he has a 30-day notice period, and they are requesting him to serve the notice period; otherwise, they will not provide a relieving letter and experience certificate. The company that offered him the new position is willing to hire him without the relieving letter and experience certificate. He has an offer letter and proof of salary (copies of all cheques) from his current company.
Please advise whether he may encounter any issues in the future if he joins the new company without obtaining a relieving letter and experience certificate from his current employer.
