Hi All, I am Idrish from Pune. I have completed a PGDM with a Finance specialization. After working for a year in the financial industry, I shifted my focus towards Human Resources and started working as an HR Executive. Currently, I have around 3 years of experience in HR. Now, I am considering pursuing a degree in Human Resources as well. Since I am working full-time, I am unable to enroll in a full-time course. Can anyone provide me with suggestions for part-time courses in HR? I am aware of Symbiosis.
Thank you.

Hi Idrish,
You can also find out about the Masters in Personnel Management (evening college). The course is for 2 years and is specifically designed for working professionals. Alternatively, you may consider a Diploma in Labour Law (also in the evening college).
Compare the syllabi of different HR courses (available online) and proceed according to your preference.
Regards.

Apart from Symbiosis, Pune University, like Bombay University, must be conducting part-time courses in MBA. You can inquire with them. You can also inquire with Wellingkars in Mumbai to see if they are offering any part-time courses in Pune. My advice is to pursue a post-graduation part-time course.

Career Growth Advice for HR Professionals
First, we need to understand why you want to pursue further education. If you aim to add some skills, consider courses in SAP, Digital Media, or other similar fields. These will not only enhance your skill set but also aid in your career growth. Since you already have an MBA, in my opinion, pursuing another MBA in HR might be unnecessary.

Can you suggest any online course for Human Resource Management or Personnel Management with valid certification? I am based in Bahrain, so I can't attend any evening colleges.

I am not sure why you want to get one more degree. Is it for a certificate or for knowledge? If it's for knowledge, then academics can't help much. Your books may not help you as much as your real-time experience. Since you have been in HR for the last 3 years, you can explore different possibilities in talent acquisition, resource pooling, core HR, strategic consulting, and so on.

I am also facing the same problem. I have completed my BBA from DAVV University in 2010 and was selected by a construction company for an IR role. While working, I enrolled in an MBA-HR course from SMU, and I am currently in my 4th semester. The main issue I am encountering is that when applying for any HR or IR position in a government company, they require candidates to be regular students.
I kindly request all HR or IR heads to assist me or suggest any courses that would make me eligible for a government company without having to leave my current job.
Thanks/Regards,
