Hi All,
I'm working for a start-up IT company. I would like to know what fun activities I could arrange in our office. We are a small team of just 10 people. Could someone think of anything exciting other than movies or dining out together?
Thanks

Hi Jesu,
Fun activities on the floor are real ice-breakers, though initially they might not be welcomed. But believe me, the enthusiasm once started catches like fire. You could use the following:
01. Have a dress code [theme] and at the end of the day judge the best-dressed male/female. You can invite the Management to be the judges so as to involve them as well.
02. Best decorated cubicle - Again, the judgment process.
03. Festival days - On/before any festival, you can organize small cultural events.
04. Birthday events - Maybe once a month, celebrate the birthdays of employees, etc.
05. You could have individual/group competitions, etc.
You could think of many more activities... all you got to do is put on your CREATIVITY HAT... 😉
All the very best,

Hi,
I think once in a while, doing some fun games like pass the message, carrom, even ludo, and snake ladder may be quite interesting. If your office has some space and you can devote some time, there are some games which I can suggest: Tug of war, Antakshari game, Introduction and aspiration game, etc.

Hi,
You can even arrange some quizzes on current topics so that not only will you have fun conducting them, but you will also get to know about the current topics in the corporate world. This will be fun.
You can also try kickball competitions and dumbbells.
Once a week, all of you can go out for shopping, boys and girls separately. Believe me, this will be fun, and it will help you get to know each other very well. While this shopping idea may sound funny, you can enjoy it. You can even shop for office items and decorate the workspace.
Thanks,
