We are a well-known company and are going to launch an Employee Job Rotation program this year. The purpose of this rotation is twofold: 1) Employee Development and 2) Succession Planning for critical positions. I am working on this project, and if anyone wants to share their feedback, you are welcome.

Communication is indeed very important as your people need to understand the rationale behind job rotation; otherwise, they will think that they are not doing well in their jobs and their bosses are looking for someone to replace them. You can start by looking at the database and rotate first those who have stayed in the same job the longest. You can also make this voluntary, as people with high interest are likely to perform better than those who are forced to change jobs.

Job rotation is sure to yield positive results in organizational stability. We are also implementing the same practice at our organization. If anyone has a PowerPoint presentation detailing the process, please share it with me.

Thanks,
Selvakumar.
