Hi friends, I am Amar from Hyderabad. Here, I have faced several questions during interviews about why HR professionals are required in organizations instead of having some HR-related tasks handled by financial professionals, such as statutory and payroll duties. Please suggest to me why HR roles are essential in this context.

Human capital is the most important asset for any organization, and HR plays a key role in identifying and recruiting the most appropriate individuals for the organization. HR must understand the firm's needs and recruit accordingly, as these needs can evolve with changing environments. Training becomes crucial in adapting to these changes.

It is also essential to ensure that the organization is not burdened with unnecessary expenses but instead contributes to financial growth. For instance, outsourcing employees, as commonly practiced in software organizations, can be a strategic move in this regard.

I hope you find this information useful.

A variety of tasks fall under HR's purview. As Anita mentioned, the HR department is not only responsible for recruitment but also for addressing any obstacles that hinder the company's growth. For example, if employees lack skills, they need to be trained. Other responsibilities include grievance handling, employee retention through welfare facilities and engagement activities, and the formulation of policies and procedures to maintain discipline among employees.

I hope I have addressed your query, and I am eager to hear our seniors' valuable opinions.

The Importance of HR Professionals in Organizations

I am Amar from Hyderabad. I have faced several questions in interviews regarding why HR professionals are necessary for any organization, even though some HR-related tasks are handled by financial professionals, such as statutory compliance and payroll. Please suggest to me.

Today's era is one of automation and information. Everything is easily accessible, making us question the use of conventional methods. However, when modern methods fail, traditional approaches help solve problems. For example, while a microwave oven offers advanced features for cooking, during a power outage, a conventional stove becomes essential.

Despite the availability of HR software, it remains just a tool without a human touch. The most crucial resource for any company is its human capital. Just as having a well-equipped kitchen is insufficient without a skilled cook, having HR expertise is vital for organizational success.

The Role of HR Professionals

An HR professional is essential for understanding the organization's current workings and proposing strategic initiatives. In today's business landscape, HR personnel are viewed as strategic partners who play a crucial role in employee engagement, motivation, and advocacy for the company. Human resources encompass various critical aspects that machines cannot fulfill.

The need for HR experts stems from their specialized knowledge in the field. Similar to requiring finance professionals for financial advice and marketing experts for strategic marketing, an organization necessitates HR professionals for human resource management.

I hope this addresses your query. My intention is not to be harsh; I apologize if it sounded that way.

Best regards 
