I have recently joined a company in Noida as a Senior Executive, and the company has provided me with the appointment letter stating the same. My cost to company (CTC) is 20k, and the net salary is 19k per month. However, the company pays the salary by cheque and does not provide a salary slip. Can you please advise whether this will affect me in my future assignments?

It would have been better if you had mentioned the reasons why the company is not giving a salary slip. I presume you would have asked for it while answering Atul Somani even before he posted his response to your query.
Alternatives for Salary Proof During Interviews
Coming to the alternatives available to you at the time of interviews, you can take a bank statement and xerox copies of the most recent 3 months' salary cheques as proof of the salary drawn at that point in time. Most companies accept this.
All the best.
