Hi,
Can someone give me feedback on TECH MAHINDRA as an employer? Also, what are your thoughts on their SAP practice? I understand they are merging with Mahindra Satyam. I have received very mixed reviews. A very close friend is taking up an offer with them in the NOIDA center. A candid response will be appreciated.
Best Regards, Shweta

Tech Mahindra: A Cautionary Tale
If you have an enemy, just refer them to Tech Mahindra; your enmity will be solved. This is the worst company to work with. No HR policy, no ethics, no work culture—nothing. Every year, they claim to have hired 10,000 people, but they never disclose how many they have fired. This was the worst company in my life. I had joined this company for a project (Etisalat) in Mumbai. Due to some issues, the project got shut down. You won't believe they claim to be such a big organization, but it's all rubbish. They fired around 300 people from the project without any notice. So, think a thousand times before joining such a company.
Advice for Potential Candidates
In case you receive a call from Tech Mahindra, attend all the interviews, take the appointment letter, but never join them. If they ask why you are not joining, just tell them the feedback about the company in the market is not good. Mention CWTP (Company Wide Talent Pool). This is a pool where they put a person when they are not in a project, in other words, those whom they want to let go.

I agree, TechM is the worst company to work at. I worked there for three years and faced discrimination based on religion, mental stress, and dirty office politics. Managers there are difficult to deal with. Even when I had served my notice period and requested to be released in 40 days instead of 60, they didn't release me. I paid the full amount requested as a settlement, and in the end, they gave me only a service certificate with "Absconding" written on it. TECH M IS THE WORST COMPANY to work at.
