As an interviewer, when I ask this question, I am looking for what you have learned from your experience and what your aim/goal in life is. What is your passion?
In another way, provide all the information that is not already in the CV. Believe me, there is plenty of knowledge that can never be mentioned on pages.
This is a very critical question as it normally determines whether I would explore the interviewee further or not.

In real terms, you will never find the best way to introduce yourself if you are thinking from the side of the interviewer because each interviewer has a different mindset during the interview. No interviewer is interested in your introduction; rather, they are more interested in your skills, capabilities, and achievements. Some normal tips you can follow to give a good introduction are as follows:
The order of the details should be:
01 Name
02 Education
03 Your place of living (City/Colony) (if it's too far from your working place, mention if you can shift near the office)
04 Details of family (Name, work, place of living (City or Colony))
If you are a fresher, mention your project, incidents where you showed the skills desired by the interviewer.
Mention your knowledge of the internet, computer, software/hardware.
Mention your knowledge of your field.
Give details about your hobbies.
One important point is, while giving introductions, observe the expression of the interviewer and try to maintain a smile on your face. Do not speak too fast or too slow. Be relaxed while giving the introduction and do not memorize it like the answer to any question. Make it like reading your favorite book or telling a story of a movie with full expressions.
That is all I think an introduction should be like.
