Dear Basima,
Employees receiving a daily average wage upto Rs.70/-(w.e.f 1-8-07) are exempted from payment of contribution. Employers will however contribute their own share in respect of these employees.
PF is exempted because job is not permanent in nature.

Hi,
I have recently transferred my PF amount from my pervious company (online transfer) it was done in two weeks hassle free. When checked the transferred amount, employee and employer contribution was transferred to new account and checked the previous company PF passbook when totaled the amount Rs 9000.00 less transferred to new account. Want to know why Rs 9000.00 has been dedicated from my previous PF amount. I have worked for 2 years and 9 months in the previous origination. I have added employee contribution + employer contribution + pension amount. Please guide me what I have to do about it. Seeking for your advice.
Thank you
