Currently, I am working as an HR Executive in a Jewelry Retail Store. Many times, I have found that the sales staff in my store get bored and feel monotonous when there are no customers visiting the showroom. Usually, the footfall in the store is quite low, and the sales staff typically sit idle. This situation leads to a high level of attrition. Could you all suggest some fun activities that could be done in the showroom for all the staff to increase their motivation levels?

You may do some role plays to utilize the time. Give them the following situations:
- How to handle an Angry Customer
- How to handle a Regular Customer
- How to increase sales
- Up-selling (i.e., selling more and more to the customer)
- Cross-selling (e.g., if a customer buys a ring, offer him/her a chain, tops, etc.)
- Soft Skills during sale (smile, greeting, asking the customer to sit, etc.)
- Body Language During sale
Hope it helps...
