Hi, please help me out with the salary break-up and calculation because I am new to the generalist position. This will be more useful for me. I want to know how to calculate the salary (entire payroll process).

Please tell me what the components in the salary are as per the company policy. If not, then you shall use the below structure:
- Basic: around 50% of the gross (Ensure Basic + DA is not less than per minimum wages)
- HRA: 40-50% on Basic
- Conveyance Allowance: Rs. 800/- PM (Max is Rs. 800/- PM)
- Medical Allowance: Rs. 1250/- PM (Max is Rs. 1250/- PM)
- Special Allowance: (Difference between Gross and the total of other components)
- Deductions as applicable:
- PF
- ESI
- PT
- TDS
- Others
