I just want to know about the standard format for salary breakup. Is there a fixed percentage for conveyance allowances, special allowances, DA, etc.? Kindly do the needful for me as I am preparing for a startup company and I am also a fresher.

Salary Breakup Guidelines

It is advisable that Basic + DA should be more than 50% of the gross salary. HRA is typically 35 to 40% of the Basic. IT is exempted up to Rs. 800 per month for Conveyance Allowance; hence, the maximum amount for CA is Rs. 800. The adjustable amount would be the Special Allowance.

Understanding Basic HRA and Salary Calculation

Is it true that the basic HRA changes every month? I am a fresher and struggling to understand the salary calculation process in detail, as every company has its own format. I am unable to determine the correct format for our company. Kindly help me understand the basics. Please.

Hello Experts,

I am working in a private limited company, so I have to handle salary activities. Please help me out as soon as possible. My question is, how to make a salary breakup for an employee with a salary of Rs. 10,000 per month?

Thanks,

Can anybody please help with the salary slip format for trainees? I don't think we will deduct PF & ESI as we have less than 10 employees in our organization. Also, we are a startup. Please share the breakups.
