I am looking for your guidance and help. In November 2011, I resigned from my job and switched to a new company. Two months later, I applied for PF withdrawal using forms 19 and 10c and submitted them to the South Delhi RO Office via courier in February 2012. As of today, my claim status has not been updated on the EPF website. I have sent an email regarding the issue to the RO office in Delhi, but nobody has replied. I also tried to register a grievance, but I could not upload it. I have copies of all the documents, including the courier acknowledgment.
I kindly request all seniors to assist me in settling the claim with the PF office.
Thank you,
Rajarsish

Dear Muralidhar T, thank you for your quick response. The forms were submitted by me through courier, and I have received the acknowledgment of the courier from the PF office. My ex-company does not submit the forms; they fill up the forms with a seal and signature and send them back to the employee for submission in the PF office. Should I resend the forms with a gazetted officer's signature, or should I wait for a few more days?
Regards,
Rajarsish.

Dear Raj, I Think, Usually, the withdrawal form 19 and 10c submitted in the month Feb or Mar are delayed due to closing of the fiscal and the interest is also to be calculated. regards,

Dear Raj,
Considering that you have taken up another job, I suggest that you withdraw your current applications and apply for the transfer of your old account to the new company. This would be more beneficial for you.

EPF Account Transfer vs. Withdrawal
When you have joined a new company, why are you considering withdrawing your EPF? Just transfer the old account to the new employer's account. Since you are already enrolled, you will also be enrolled in the EPF Act under your new employer. It would be much more beneficial for you to transfer it rather than withdrawing.

If you have the acknowledgment for the submission of Form 19 and 10C, it's better to wait for some more time. Why? Because in April, they will stop the processing of regular claims and withdrawals due to the financial year closing, updating the annual returns, etc. You can also check the status of your claim on the EPFO website. Otherwise, contact the EPFO helpline.
