QWL works as a great motivator for the employees. They end up valuing their org more for the value addition done by it to their lives. Their performance levels also increase, hence resulting in the overall satisfaction of both parties.

QWL provides satisfaction and increases performance at the workplace. Correct.

Now, to add to what Neha said, QWL is another factor for motivation in organizational behavior terms and reflects good organizational culture.

QWL includes many constituents like:

- Discipline
- Hygienic conditions
- Horizontal and vertical communication
- Spacious office
- Organizational values
- Working environment
- Proper handling of grievances
- Encouragement from seniors
- Transparency, etc.

These are some of the constituents that, when appropriate, create good QWL and increase employee satisfaction, motivating them to perform better, which in turn benefits the company by increasing the quality of work and profits.

It is very obvious that if the employee is satisfied with the company, he will work wholeheartedly. On the contrary, bad quality of work life affects the company directly or indirectly.

"How does it affect the strategic plan of an organization?"

It affects the company's strategic decisions in the following ways:

- Satisfied employees will perform better, giving the company full liberty to concentrate on the best decision-making.
- Dissatisfied employees may cause increased attrition, which requires the company to look again for new recruitments, affecting the strategic plans.
- If everything is stable, the company can assume long-term strategies, and in this, QWL helps a lot.

In all, QWL directly affects the organization's strategic plans.

Please see my posts on page 2 of this thread. I wonder, why do people not read all the prior messages before posting requests for questionnaires? Also, when posting messages, please provide as much detail about yourself, the need for the questionnaire, and what you intend to do with it, etc.
