HR Executive who has two years of experience in textile might be paid around 15 to 18 thousand not more than that....since the company’s strength is only 150...

The textile industry pays high salaries to operations staff. HR is a clerical function within the industry, simply administering payroll and terminating employees at the lowest cost. Salaries could vary from 7-8k to 15k at the maximum. This is one sector where you can still find capable people with 15 years of experience working for 30-50k.

Dear Rana Sir,
Good afternoon.
Kindly revert to me regarding the following queries:
1) Can any company deduct a remote location allowance after two years of service from an employee, even though the employee is still working in the same company and location but has taken on additional responsibilities with two more projects?
2) Is receiving an annual bonus and increment dependent on the company's discretion or is it mandatory, even when the employee's performance is excellent, and the company is showing significant growth? The gross salary is 12500/- with a location allowance of 30%, and the basic salary is 7300/- per month.
3) What actions can an employee take to reinstate their stopped location allowance, bonus, and increment, without resorting to legal measures?
Your valued response would be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Dear Asthana,
Your query addressed point-wise:
1. Companies generally do not revoke allowances suddenly. There may be a possibility that during these two years, your site has developed, and now it is not considered remote. Please check with HR personnel.
2. Annual Bonus is mandatory unless exempted by local area-specific rules, such as Special Economic Zones. For a specific period, the company may be exempt from paying bonuses, as in the case of a 5-year exemption from bonus payments (verify with a consultant). However, if the company is profitable, they must declare a minimum of 8.33% and a maximum of 20% as an annual bonus.
3. You should communicate with your Personnel department to gain understanding. If the situation is truly depriving you of monetary benefits, besides taking legal action, your only recourse may be to seek alternative employment.

Dear Bhandari Sir,
A lot of thanks to you.
Actually, I was posted in Tripura (Agartala), near to Bangladesh, from Nov. 2007 to July 2010. But from Oct. 2009, they had stopped my North East Allowance and added more responsibility for upcoming 2 new projects since Jan 2009. I had sent several emails regarding this. At last, I had quit that company in July 2010. My head of department, project manager, and other seniors were appraising/favoring me, but the HR department didn't. Now HR says I had been transferred to new projects and N.E. Allowance, and my special 60:30 On/Off duty/Leave Pattern is not applicable there. So, I am not eligible to get my balance of 164 days leave encasement as my duty pattern had been changed to General duty and I am not eligible to get N.E. Allowance. Even though they never transferred me to those projects, apart from no increment, no bonus. I was just taking care of those new projects as my additional responsibility.
The company's seniors had called me last year to rejoin again with a handsome salary package as they considered my eligibility, but the HR department is not willing to complete my F&F with honesty.
Hence, I am requesting guidance on how to get my dues from the company without any legal remedy because I want to keep the door of the company always open for me.
All other HR managers, consultants, and experts are respectfully invited hereby to give their best suggestions.
I look forward to getting the best solution as I believe HR is the best forum to obtain such kind of solutions.
Thanking all of you.
