Dear all,

I am preparing a training module for working at heights. I am looking for Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) information regarding the same. HIRA should cover working at high structure levels where there is no permanent platform, and the erection of steel tubular scaffold complies with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

If anyone has the materials, kindly upload or email them to me. I will upload the training module once I complete it.

Thanks and Regards,
Vijay

Dear Vijay
Nice to see your continuous and active participation in the forum...
I have gone through the presentation and it seems good... To whom you are going to deliver this module? Only basics are there in the training module...
You may add the following:
Hierarchy of control for ‘Fall Protection’
1) Three levels of fall prevention/protection
•Eliminate fall exposure
•Prevent fall (by use of well designed platforms with guardrails)
•Protect from fall (by use of proper fall arrest equipment)
2) Mandatory training
A lot more can be add upon depending upon the audience of the course...
Find the attached SWP of work at height... You may further modify according to your need...

Dear Raghu,

Good inputs.

Dear Vijay,

You may edit the PowerPoint presentations based on the hazards at your workplace. You can add some real-life incidents to make the presentation more interesting.

Do share with the team once complete.

Thanks & Regards,
Sudhir
