Amendment to Maharashtra Factories Rules, 1967
The Government of Maharashtra has amended the Maharashtra Factories Rules, 1967. The recent amendment came into effect on 3 Jan 2012. It provides for online payment of fees, filing of returns, application for registration, renewal of licenses, notices, etc. The provisions are mandatory.
A new sub-rule 119 is inserted, which provides for the filing of monthly returns in form 27A. The existing form 27, providing for Annual Returns, is substituted with a new one.
