Hello, I need advice on how to control a recession in a group of 25 to 30 employees. In case anyone leaves the company without any notice, what action should the employer take?

Situation with a New Joiner

Recently, we had a new joiner in our production division as a QC/QA Chemist (R&D). It was a critical job profile, and within a month, he vanished. We had no information about his departure. Additionally, he had accessed some formulations from our ERP System. What actions should HR take?

I would suggest you have a formal induction system as well as an exit management process. You can include non-disclosure agreements and notice period regulations so that legal action against violators can be undertaken.

In the case of employees dealing with confidential and intellectual property work, it is always advisable to have them execute a service bond on stamped paper, requiring them to serve a minimum period. The bond should outline summary damages under the Contract Act for any breach thereof and also stipulate conditions regarding the procedure for the complete handover of their work at the time of leaving service, such as obtaining a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employee who will be taking over from them. You can devise a format for the handover and takeover of confidential work that suits your company's needs.
