Hello Guys,
I was working in a company for 4 months, and they deducted some amount as PF. Now I have joined another company and want to close my previous PF account. How can I close this account and retrieve my money? Could you please guide me on how to get my money back?
Thanks in Advance,

Hi,
You can either choose to transfer or close your PF account with your previous firm. In order to close, you'll have to fill in Form 19 for PF and Form 10C for the Pension fund. You have to get this signed by your previous employer (or a notary), and they'll forward it to the PF Office. The amount will get transferred to the bank account you specify or will be sent to you as a money order (if the amount is less than Rs. 2000).

Hello,
Thank you very much for your prompt reply. Currently, I am working in Tamil Nadu, but my previous employer is located in Noida-Delhi. When they requested me to extend my service, I decided to resign from my job. It appears that they are reluctant to sign off on closing my PF account. In this situation, can I submit a form with only a Notary Public signature to close the account? I would appreciate your advice on this matter.
Thank you in advance.
