Help!
I have been employed as an HR Manager for a newly established group of 26 companies and 2 hotels. I am tasked with setting up an HR Manual (Policies & Procedures).

I am specifically seeking information on transportation policies, accommodation policies, leave policies, etc. For example, Senior Management receives QR 2,000, Juniors receive QR 1,500, and lower-level positions receive QR 1,000 for transportation.

I need a starting point, please help!

Dear LARA,

Preparing an HR MANUAL is not an easy task as it contains COMPANY POLICIES & PROCEDURES applicable for all employees at all LEVELS. A sample HR MANUAL is available on CITEHR, which you can search and retrieve. Please understand your company's PROCEDURES, RULES & REGULATIONS, and start preparing POINTS to be included under different HEADINGS.

Once you are done, you can submit the same for our views. I shall guide you about NECESSARY MODIFICATIONS to be carried out. If you have any queries, please feel free to write to me in this forum.

May I know in which country you are employed?

With profound regards,

Hello Katyayani,

As your CEO advised updating the policies during the induction program, in order to deliver, you have to design the HR policies and procedures in favor of your firm. HR policies and procedures vary from firm to firm.
