Hi, I would like to share a checklist and documents related to Foreigners Employment Visa registration. This is one of the most important tasks handled either by the HR team or the Admin (TRAVEL) team.
Any foreigner who comes to India on an Employment Visa (EV) and their dependents on an Employment Dependent (XV) visa need to register with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) within 14 days from the date of arrival in India. If there is a delay in registration, USD 30 needs to be paid as a penalty.
Note: A minimal annual salary of USD 25,000+ (without Income Tax) is mandatory. Without this, their visa registration/extension application would be rejected, and an EXIT visa will be issued to facilitate EXIT out of India.

We are one of the training institutes in Bangalore that provide CISCO, MICROSOFT, and LINUX training. We offer courses ranging from 2 months to 1 year and 6 months. We are facing difficulties in obtaining visas for foreign students applying from various countries, as they mention that we are not registered. We have tried to find out how to get ourselves registered but have been unsuccessful.
