Dear Renuka,

I hope you are not with the same firm for 2.5 years, as you cannot bear that culture. But why is it so that this firm has such a culture? Since you are sounding quite genuine, it is a must that you have a word with your superiors. Just clarify for yourself the positives and negatives of the culture. If you are sure you don't want to continue and even discussions don't help you out, then certainly treat yourself right by planning for a switch over.

Good evening, Renuka! As you mentioned that you have 2.5 years of experience, I believe you should serve a notice period and search for a new job. I hope you will find a better job because you are not a fresher. So, just keep moving forward.

Hi! I think it's better if you start searching for another job. The current job is not suitable for you, and in any case, I cannot advise you to continue because you might end up being fired and lose your benefits. Get on and find another job.

Hi Renuka!!

From your post, it seems you are desperate for a break! Give your mind and body a break of around 7-10 days. Give the notice period to the company to finish it off. Then, take a break and start searching for a job; that's a better idea.

I won't suggest you go on leave and search for a job because:

1) If, in case, you get on leave for 5-7 days, then think, what if you don't get a proper job in these 5-7 days? You would be in trouble again.

2) The worst scenario would be if you appear for an interview, everything goes well. Just think, if a reference check is done with your present employer, you would land in trouble.

So, just think before you leap :)

Good Luck

Regards

Jacky
