Human Nature and Authority
Human nature is such that once authority comes, basics are thrown to the winds. Many times, company culture is built on suspicion, which percolates throughout the organization as only those who play the game get promoted.
Importance of Communication in Management
I always felt that all managers should have some orientation course on communication, as not only communication outside but communication within the organization is very important. Blatant lies never help as people within come to know the facts sooner or later. A competent and stable HR Head enjoying the confidence of the MD and the MD listening to the advice is the perfect setting, highly desirable but rarely seen.
