I need to make a presentation on Employee Engagement. Could someone let me know how to go about it?

What are the current Employee Engagement practices being followed? What are the best practices being followed where employee engagement is concerned.

Creativitysparkles, I don't know who you are presenting to and for what purpose (overview, EE project idea, etc), but you can find a lot of info on employee engagement on the net.
The following organizations have done research over many years on what organizations need to do to engage and retention employees:
BlessingWhite
Towers Perrin
Gallup
Corporate Leadership Council
Hewitt
Seek
Just do a search on “company name” +”employee engagement”.

Hi! I am a Management Trainee in a Pharma company. I want some good, cost-effective suggestions for a team of Medical Reps, as our company's business is spread all over the country. It's not possible to go and meet the sales force, but can you suggest some small HR activities that can enhance employee engagement for the company and are not too costly as well.

I am managing Employee Engagement for a large print media organization and have concluded that employee engagement is not only about fun activities, although it always begins with that. Fun is the easiest way to open up people and then lead them to start treating their workplace as a fun zone to return to and work with an enthused mind, fully involved with high energy. You may call it an old wine (motivation) in a new bottle or the latest HR fad, but the purpose is to energize or charge employees to go beyond their "job role" and work exceeding the organization's expectations willingly. In doing so, they see their own associated growth in it.

I have found a few good articles that define the Employee Engagement theory, but the practical aspect is still in a nascent stage to emerge as tried and tested methods (see attachment). However, a broad framework helps in devising a customized Employee Engagement strategy and plan, which would differ from one company to another.
