Dear Friends,

We have been discussing various labor laws in many threads and have also gained some knowledge in this subject.

Let me deviate slightly from the above and provide you with the following acts for your reference:

(i) Indian Penal Code
(ii) Code of Criminal Procedure
(iii) Code of Civil Procedure

Wishing you happy readings.

Dear Mr. Deadsoul,

(If possible, please provide your real name, friend, because I feel embarrassed to address your so-called name).

Thanks for your valuable comments, friend. The Indian Penal Code (IPC) was created and passed by the government back in 1860, and it has been in effect ever since. Even the J&K Government follows the IPC, albeit with some variations. In Jammu & Kashmir State, it is known as the Ranbir Penal Code and is applicable only to that region.

Parts of the IPC that are deemed redundant are periodically reviewed by the Law Commission and amended as necessary, as indicated in the footnote.

Dear Bhaskar,

Thank you for such a nice post. This is a very valuable set of information. Could you please provide the web link for the same, as it is much easier to manage than maintaining PDF files?

Regards,
Avinash K.
