As far as the matter relates to the Gurgaon region, it is clarified that the establishment is required to declare/grant three national and five festival holidays in a year under The Punjab Shops and Commercial Establishment Act, 1958 / The PIE (N&F Holidays and C&S Leaves) Act, 1965. Management is at liberty to increase the number of leaves/holidays at their own discretion.
