Dear all,

I need urgent help for my MBA assignment on the following topics. Please share any valuable information on the topics.

Subject: Labour Welfare

1. "Though there are various legal provisions regarding employee health, yet they have not been implemented to the satisfaction of employees." Is it true? Give your observation and suggest remedial actions.

2. "Safety of workers in mines is much riskier than any other industrial establishments. We need to evolve a separate policy on their welfare and safety." Do you think so? If so, give your opinion either supporting or defending this statement.

3. Explain the status of social security measures in India. What are the roles of employers towards fulfilling this obligation?

Please help.

Thanks and regards,
Shreedhar

Dear Shreedhar,

The above topics are well known, and many studies have already been conducted in these fields. Don't focus on generic studies; instead, concentrate on specific topics that can truly benefit the organization and its employees. Your efforts should be directed towards a positive direction.

Please find attached various schemes run by the Punjab and Haryana governments for the welfare of workers in an organization. Study the mentioned points/schemes and create awareness, conduct research, explain the benefits, and provide guidance on implementing these schemes within the organization. Show the ways through which poor workers can benefit from these schemes. This project involves social work, and its success will be significant.

Currently, more than 95% of factories in Punjab and Haryana are unaware of these schemes, with only 2.9% of organizations benefiting from the mentioned schemes.

Thank you.
