Good evening seniors, I have completed my MBA in HR and have been working as an HR executive for a year. I am interested in pursuing a course through distance learning that would complement both my education (MBA) and work experience. I would greatly appreciate your suggestions and advice.

If you want to enhance your qualifications in relation to HR for your career growth, you can opt for an M.Phil in HR and LLB. On the technical side, you can consider courses like SAP HR or Oracle HR.
All the best...

Hello everyone, I am also going through the same dilemma. I have completed my MBA in HR and have 2 years of experience. I want to gain further qualifications. I have decided to pursue an MPhil and PhD in Public Administration. However, the people whom I have consulted with are suggesting that I should gain 2-3 more years of experience in the related field before pursuing further qualifications.
I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help me navigate through this dilemma.

Considerations for Adding Qualifications
First, decide what you want to achieve by adding qualifications. If you don't get an opportunity to use that education, you will get frustrated.
It is hard to believe that you have been in the field for only one year. One year is a very short time to think that you have considerable and in-depth practical knowledge of HR. Instead, please devote time to sharpening each of your HR skills. Over time, you will enjoy your position as a proficient HR professional.
Today, due to a lack of skills or a shortage of skills, you may have to chase after jobs, but tomorrow, employers will be seeking you out.

Hi there, I am Raja. I completed my MBA in 2009 and have 2 years of experience. I am interested in an HR generalist job but currently lack expertise in many areas of HR generalists. Therefore, I am seeking practical training to advance my career in this field. I am specifically looking for training opportunities in Chennai only. If anyone could recommend the best training center for HR generalist profiles, I would greatly appreciate it.

Research Fellowship and Lectureship Opportunities After MBA
After completing your MBA, you can also opt for a research fellowship or pursue a lectureship. For this, you need to clear an exam conducted by UGC, namely the National Eligibility Test, which is held every year in June and December. If you need any further information on this, feel free to contact me as I am currently preparing for this exam.
Bye for now.
