Dear Friends,
I worked with an IT company in Jaipur for three months. They hired me on a monthly salary of Rs. 31,660 as a Business Development Manager. The CEO asked me if he could pay me Rs. 18,000 per month after two months, to which I didn't agree. As a result, he asked me to resign, and I left the company and came to Pune for a job search. I received a relieving letter from the company and was informed by the HR that my salary would be released along with all the other employees. I stayed in touch with the HR, who initially mentioned that my salary would be released periodically. However, she now states that the CEO has decided not to pay me my salary for my last month.
I possess all the necessary legal documents such as the appointment letter and relieving letter. Please advise me on the appropriate legal steps I should take to secure my salary. Currently, I am located in Pune, while my former company is in Jaipur.
Looking forward to your kind response.
Best Regards,
Vilas

If you go legally, usually companies will claim damages/losses because of your work/performance, etc. So just leave it aside and go ahead with your job search to find a better company to work with.

Vilas, I don't know why Mr. Barath is saying this, but it's your money, and you are entitled to get your remuneration. For that, you should go to the labor court and file your complaint there. If you do not act, they may repeat this with another person as well. Be positive and proceed. For further help, you can call me at 7838606486.

Dear Mr. Vilas,
First of all, you cannot go to a labor court as suggested because you are not a workman. The Industrial Dispute Act of 1947 is applicable to workers, not managers or supervisors.
My suggestion is to send a legal notice. If they do not pay, then approach the court. The limitation period is three years. Do not leave.
I am sure they will pay you.
