I had given resignation from my old company, and it was accepted with effect from 20 Dec 2010, and I went on leave. However, I joined the new company on 1 Dec 2010, so my date of leaving is later than the date of joining in the new company. I want to know if PF transfer is possible because the above dates have to be mentioned in Form 13 for transfer. Also, are there any legal issues in this case when the date of joining in the new company is earlier than the date of leaving from the old company?
Greetings,
In case your new company is non-tolerant of dual employment, you do stand the risk of losing your job. Share a little more about what reasons made you avoid taking clearance from the old company. If the reason is humanitarian enough, you might still be considered. However, that remains the prerogative of the HR and the leaders you report to.
In the future, please avoid such situations as you end up risking not just a new job but also data that cannot be changed in your documents.
