We have submitted form 19 & form 10c for claim purpose, but they are asking form 9 for verification . pls send form 9 format and how to fill this form.

Form 9 is the register that has been submitted for the coverage period for the allotment of a PF number. You have to maintain an extra copy for your company's records. It's similar to Form 5 & 10; you need to update the monthly details of new joiners and employees who have left.

Dear Bhargava, F-9 is an initial document submitted once at the beginning by the employer, later updated by the EPFO based on F-5 & 10. The format is available within the EPF & MP Act 1952 as an illustration. It can be easily downloaded from the EPFO website. Additionally, it is available free of cost at the PF office.

Form 9 is a membership record, whereas F-3A is an individual contribution card submitted yearly with F-6A. It is supplemental to the F-5/10 submitted monthly for any addition/deletion in the P.F. membership. Hence, it cannot replace the statutory requirement. There should not be any shortcuts.
