Hi Seniors, my doubt is regarding leave. Suppose an employee took CL for the 12th, 13th, 14th, and 15th, but actually, the 14th is a holiday. Will that day be considered as leave or a holiday? If it is SL or PL, which one should we count? Additionally, any holiday that falls between two CLs will be considered as what? I kindly request your valuable responses regarding this at the earliest. It's very urgent.

In the case of paid leave/EL/AL, whatever name you call it, the time in between leaves should be excluded when counting leave. On the other hand, in the case of CL/SL, it is based on your internal management policy as the law is not clear on this matter. I have provided clarification specifically for factories, as the law varies widely when it comes to leaves due to different provisions in different states for shop and establishment.
Thank you.
