THE WISE WOMAN'S STONE
A wise woman, who was traveling in the mountains, found a precious stone in a stream. The next day she met another traveler who was hungry, and the wise woman opened her bag to share her food. The hungry traveler saw the precious stone and asked the woman to give it to him. She did so without hesitation. The traveler left, rejoicing in his good fortune. He knew the stone was worth enough to give him security for a lifetime.
But, a few days later, he came back to return the stone to the wise woman. "I've been thinking," he said. "I know how valuable this stone is, but I give it back in the hope that you can give me something even more precious. Give me what you have within you that enabled you to give me this stone."

Her life is not based on that stone. It means that her life is not limited to a precious stone. What she did is not generosity or a good deed; it is something of a very different dimension of life that goes beyond physical needs. She is ready to face the future, whatever it may be. That is a different kind of eternal, real strength.

It does matter if material is copied from other websites. Kindly strive to know more about such issues. I agree that "Not everybody gets a chance to go through all these stories," but there are certain legal, respected, and established ways to share knowledge and information. There is so much more information and knowledge on the web; do you think it would be right if people just COPY & PASTE materials here?

Does anybody know where I can find such people who will give me precious stones in real life? I do not mind receiving hard cash or anything that has monetary value except advice, please. I have to admit that my materialistic tendencies will not allow me to return any precious stones or hard cash given to me. So, you can kiss your money goodbye after giving it to me.
