Dear Seniors,

I am confused about the leave policy. Please let me know if there is any central rule for the same. Also, how can I obtain information regarding leave policies?

Greetings,

What are your doubts about the leave policy? Which vertical does your company belong to, and what is the business model? Please do mention which state the organization is located in. I guess you are designing the policies for your organization. You may read the following links. But in case you are designing the policies, please consider the questions I raised.

Dear Cite Contribution,

I work as an HR Generalist in an ITES company in Mysore, Karnataka. I have been tasked with designing the leave policy for our company, which has a workforce of 55 employees. Please assist me in this matter.

I look forward to your prompt response.

Greetings,

Your company is registered under the Karnataka Shops and Commercial Establishment Act. Please read the attachment in this link: https://www.citehr.com/96020-no-mand...-establis.html.

Now, consider the business model of your company. Can it afford to close operations during the holidays? Would you require shifting the working days? What is the client holiday list? Please keep that in mind, as the operations will have to plan work allocation accordingly.

Also, consider the leave benefits offered by other ITES firms in Mysore. You need to design a competitive policy. You may refer to the attached document, which was shared by a member in this community and is relevant to your requirements.
