Hi,

You can make the onboarding process like an onboarding party once a month, depending on the rate of recruitments. During the Company induction programs, you can provide onboarding packs (designed with the company logo) to new staff. That pack can contain small gifts such as a backpack, pen, T-shirt, cap, keychain, and the employee manual.

You may have to plan it differently for different levels. For example, I have seen in one company inviting their senior hires for meetings (strategic ones) which they might be attending well before their joining. This creates a sense of ownership. At Ernst and Young, when I joined, they sent a bouquet a day in advance to my hotel. Quite a nice gesture. At RPG Group, I have seen them sending CDs of e-boarding and internal magazines to hires before they join. All giving a glimpse of onboarding before you even join!

Hello everyone,

I have my internship in an MNC company, and they have given me a topic on onboarding. Can anyone help me with the onboarding process and what kind of questionnaire should be in onboarding? Can anyone help me with how I can prepare my report?

Dear all,

The onboarding process is designed to help newcomers, at any level, feel at home and provide them with a comfortable, relaxed start. Depending on the individual's role, they may be invited to attend team meetings in their area of operation as an observer, participate in brainstorming sessions before being formally assigned tasks. This approach can aid in familiarizing the newcomer with the work culture, team dynamics, and facilitate a smoother integration into the team.
