Is ESI and PF rules are applicable to the employees hired from outer agencies??? What if they are already covered under ESI and PF from the agency itself??

Dear Shreekanth, If an agency is already having ESI/PF codes, principle employer simply need to verify their records, not to have covered again. Regards,

ESI has to be deducted at 1.75% on gross salary up to 15000/- per month without overtime. All other components of salary have to be considered. PF is to be deducted at 12% up to basic of 6500/- per month, and it is deducted on basic+DA (if any).
