Dear All,

Can anyone help me with the term "acceptance letter" or email? I worked for an IT infrastructure company for 1.4 years. I didn't receive any appraisals or opportunities for growth in my old company. Therefore, I started looking for a new job, and I eventually received an offer.

In my old company, my immediate supervisor accepted my resignation and instructed me via email as follows: "Please apply online, and your notice period is two months." The quote above illustrates the content of the acceptance email.

Although my notice period in the old company was two months, I only served 24 days before leaving due to the pressure of joining the new company. Can anyone advise me on how to progress in my career despite the lack of experience from my 1.4 years at the previous company?

Thank you.

Dear All,

Can anyone advise me on how I can advance my career without considering this 1.4 years of experience?

As your immediate supervisor/boss has asked you, "please apply online and your notice period is two months," it means you need to submit your resignation for approval. This step is crucial for your exit clearance from the Personnel department. You will require this approval to obtain your experience/relieving letter. Kindly inform me whether you have received your relieving certificate and other clearances from them. If you have, there is no need to worry. If not, please approach them to complete the process. If you have any further questions or need more details, feel free to email me or call me on my cellphone at +91-9899159943.

Hi Anil,

My sincere thanks for the reply. I even requested them for the experience or acceptance email, but they are not ready to help me out in this case. Before relieving from the company, I sent the email to all my HR, boss, and regional head about quitting from the company. But in their point of view, they are saying I absconded from the organization. But it's right in their point of view. Now, I know I realized I made a great mistake. I don't know to what extent I am going to achieve success.

Regards,

Rajeev, Chennai.
