If employees are not much satisfied, interested, or motivated to work, they might not pay attention to being punctual or reporting to work. Also, there may be various other personal situations such as family commitments, etc., which may cause absenteeism.
However, when an employee is noted for his/her absenteeism, an HR Manager should approach the individual, find the reason, and try to solve the situation. He/she should be approached in a positive manner and should help him/her understand the negative effect of his absenteeism on the total output.

4) Pay structure not being good
5) Sometimes some personal issue
6) Lack of accountability
