Could anyone help me out in preparing the company mobile usage policy? In our company, most client-related employees such as sales and consulting are using company mobiles, resulting in unlimited bills that we have to pay. Therefore, we have decided to create a policy to regulate this usage and circulate it to the employees so that they can have control over their use of company mobile devices.

Here is a small suggestion you can try to implement and prepare a policy accordingly. Give a limited amount for the employees; it should depend on the grades or designation wise. For example, if he/she is a junior-level employee, pay them 500 bucks, and middl-y level 1000. Like that, you can divide the amount according to the company budget for mobile phone reimbursement.

You need to set the limit based on the designation and work profile an individual handles. Moreover, everything should be chargeable to the employee. Additionally, you can consider corporate connections. Many telecom service providers offer corporates better tariffs on bulk deals.

You have the option to choose the operator with a viable plan as per your requirements and also study the operator's service before making the final decision. Many operators are providing heavy discounts on bulk deals. After that, you can set the budget on different slabs as per the assignment given to them (i.e., local, STD, National Roaming, ISD, etc.). If the bill exceeds the budget, details can be studied, and reimbursement made accordingly if it goes beyond budget.
