Performance Appraisal [Thread 98751]

Hi All,
I work for a start-up. Its an IT Co. based in Gurgaon. I started my career as a HR executive only last year and my performance appraisal is due this month. Could any one help me understand what should be the % appraised for a HR Executive.
Also, there's is an appraisal for the technical and Marketing staff every 6 months but I was told that support staff (under which I fall ) will be appraised only once a year.
Kindly advice, look forward to your help.

First of all, I could not understand what you mean by "what should be the % appraised for a HR Executive"? Please elaborate your query.
Yes, it is true that technical people get appraisal bi-annually. But the hike in salary is done mostly once a year for them too. As far as support function is considered, they are appraised annually and the hike is also once a year.
About appraisal types, companies have different parameters and set percentage to evaluate the performance of employee and decide the hike.
